The skills

The agent skills that write in this voice live in their own repository, so they can be installed into any tool that reads SKILL.md files without carrying the book, the glossary, and the product exports with them.

Each skill installs on its own, carries every rule it enforces, and reads no file outside its own directory. Use the house voice to interpret their register rules. The accompanying measurement tool supplies diagnostics for editorial review.

Balanced combines existing registers according to each passage's purpose; it has no separately measured corpus or fixed percentage. Neutral retains its established factual voice. The corresponding copyable prompts are Neutral text, Write balanced text, and Edit balanced text.

The TLDR prompt combines neutral-writing discipline with source-voice preservation and three private condensation rounds. /fontlab-tldr returns only the final transformed text.

How the two repositories divide

This repository is the reference: the guide, the book, the glossary, the translation tables, and the product documentation they are drawn from. It is where a rule is decided and where the evidence lives.

The skills repository is the executable form of those decisions, kept small enough to install anywhere.

When a rule changes, it changes here first, in the guide, and then in the shared house-rules block of the skills repository. The skills carry their own copy of the rules on purpose: an installed skill has no access to this repository.

Overriding them

The house rules yield to three things, in this order: a direct instruction from you, a voice sample or brand style you supply, and the override rule, which is to break any rule sooner than write something worse.

What no instruction overrides is the fact rules. A skill may not invent a specific, inflate a claim past its source, or manufacture proof, whatever it is asked.
